Anyone know where I can get one of these? http://www.mbike.com/honda/rc166-250/1966 http://www.returnofthecaferacers.com/2011/02/sweet-sounding-honda-six.html http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/mc_100/122_1206_honda_rc166_250_6/
Yea .... break into a museum and steal one or grab 1 of these ..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/14127-TAMIY...-View-Motorcycle-Model-Kit-1-12-/350962607967 And if one was to come up for sale u would have to sell your house, car, bike , 2 of your children, your mum and your arse to be able to put a deposit down
Been a few of them made. Cheap way to have something special that is a lot easier to ride and maintain.
I think the 4 cylinder version was the RC161 39USD + shipping for a model of an RC166...what a rip off. I bought mine for 48AUD!
You weren't far off the mark as far as value goes...this 4 cylinder RC164 costs more than my house! http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/14264/lot/636/
I remember when I was of the age of having your room covered in posters , I had one of Mike the Bike riding that thing (RC166) .... that would be a nice collectors item in itself. This is great when its 'idling' with it being filmed from behind ....Id just like that team of Japanese mechanics at my call ....!
Must be over a million bucks for one of these. Something about a 4-stroke, 250cc six cylinder bike that makes you really respect those Honda engineers. I read somewhere that Honda used all of that know how when they built the CBX1000. I heard one with a 6-into-1 pipe and it sounded like an F1 engine screaming its tits off. Unreal! Can you imagine trying to tune six carbs?
Now thats when a crew of Japanese mechanics would be handy ! This belongs to one of our local publicans .....
What a work of art that is. The original twin shock Z. Sympathetic resto too. $15-20K right there. The Prolink C was the pick of this lot, but everyone wants the original Z. Skinny forks and big front wheel...scary.
