ha ha, I paid more than that, so I took her for a quick run around the block, these tyres are hard as a rock and there are now cracks in the side walls so I ordered a pair of Pirelli Diablo Rosso's, in Queensland we get half price rego if the bike is single seat complied so I ordered a rear seat cowl off xcitebikes.com.au and will pull the rear pegs off and drill the holes out. Im a bit frustrated with the rear brake, seems the disk is warped yet its almost brand new... I have fitted one from a VTR250 to get me by for my RWC, but I cannot physically sight the warp, even placing a staight edge on it, but it does catch in the pads at one point only.

All going well I will have the single seat compliance and RWC by Tuesday, then save a few $$$ for rego

Here is a pic of the seat cowl

picked my new tyres today, fitted them on the bike, I have removed the rear panels to remove the pillion pegs as I'm going to single seat register it, plus George came over tonight to pickup some Across bits so I showed him how the forum stickers went on...

Tomorrow I will drill the rear pegs out and reassemble and hopefully book a RWC \ and single seat compliance.

Don't drill the holes if you don't need to ( they can do it for the compliance or they may leave it for you and compliance it anyway) for ease of changing back.

I went and talked to a guy today about getting mine complied for single seat. He said you don't have to drill out to threads anymore. He also said the seat can't be longer than 500mm, but you've got a cowl so should be fine

I talked to the RWC guy today and I'm booked in for tomorrow, I asked if he could do the LK7 (Single Seat) conversion and he said no, these are now done by Queensland Transport , the rules are seat must be no longer than 500mm and the rear pegs must be removed, no more drilling out the mounting points plus no inspection fee.

Half price rego here I come !!!
