A while back I joined a few of the 250cc Proddie Racer groups on Facebook, in March I found a post from a guy called Ricky Rice who had a NSR250 for sale, I messaged Brizfox to see if he wanted it, but he said he had enough on his plate. I messaged Ricky to talk price and realised very quickly that I did not have enough in the kitty to buy the bike.

Fast forward to this week, I have had a good couple months of solid parts sales and have built up a decent stash, I had decided I wanted a GSXR750 SRAD as they were one of the first bikes I fell in love with, so I have been looking around and not really finding any good ones with low mileage. I figured if I couldn't get an SRAD, then I would look for a NSR, there is literally none around, then I remembered Ricky's bike. I messaged him on FB and drove out for a look, I didn't think I was going to get it for what I wanted to pay, so I didn't even take the trailer. At any rate, the deal was done and I had to head home and get the trailer to pick her up, she is now safe and sound in the garage.

#3 seems fitting as this is my 3rd NSR

I have whipped the carbs off , jets are blocked, so they are now sitting in a bath of 3bond.

She allegedly has some HRC goodies such as airbox ( well half a one) , HRC chambers and HRC ignition and was told it goes like a cut snake. I will get reassemble the carbs, grab a battery and some new plugs tomorrow and see if I can get her running.

I've seen that air box set up before on a Honda RS 250 and RS 125.does it have a lid or is there a gauze set up over the intakes.

Very nice! Great job on the Castrol scheme.

I've got a crap load of MC18 engine parts if you need them. And other main parts as well. Nothing to get it to road legal form though.
