Different size main jets

    So been doing a bit of reading up on carbs and there has been a few mentions of having different size main jets between the two sides (2 cylinder). What it the idea behind the size difference?

    I personally believe its due to temperature. If the outside 2 are cooler than the increased richness will help and vise versa of the middle 2. That's my theory/read understanding of it. But getting you fuel air perfect would have to be SPOT on for that to apply.

    The zxr250 actually has the bigger mains in the middle.
    Yeah a lot of twins do that I think it's airbox related
