Hmm. Reading this now - you've basically said the mechanic didn't really take too much time to troubleshoot the problem and threw it on a dyno, but also he's "richened" it up as much as possible to solve the problem (the problem he didn't investigate properly?). Something doesn't feel right about that to me. I've run bikes and cars without exhausts and although they don't run so efficiently (or quietly) they still go pretty hard. The more I read this thread the more skeptical I'm becoming about this solution. I'd be checking/replacing your air filter and fuel filter and seeing if that makes a difference, AND putting the bike back to stock in the carbies. If that doesn't work, you need to check what jets are in it - someone could have messed with them and undersized them. Look I'm in melbourne and if you want to tinker on a saturday just send me a message, we could at least take a close look at it and see where we get to. Looking won't hurt anything
Heya, I replaced the air filter about 6 months ago and i had no idea that across's had a fuel filter lol. The bike really is a pos and i just need to to last me until august when i get off my restricted licence. If you could have a look that would be awesome, where abouts are you located? Thanks
