    Morning guys,

Been lurking about here for a few weeks trying to get some info before buying my '92 ZXR250C and thought it’s time to say hello how that I have one!

The bike was a bit of a fixer-upper and needed a bit of love (exhaust needs replacing, fairings need fixing, dented tank, etc) but they are so rare in the UK I took a punt and bought it anyway.

List of issues/problems is growing, but all seem fixable. The only big issue I have is a snapped off pilot screw in the carb from the previous owner.. (anyone have any ideas on this as replacing the carbs seems unlikely as I doubt I’ll be able to find them!)

Anyway, hopefully I’ll be welcome here and look forward to learning as much as I can about these awesome little bikes!

    Rick.

Get in touch with Matt Harper http://www.harpers-ultrasonic.com/
    He is in Cheshire.
Just putting the carb in the ultrasonic cleaning tank may make it easier to get it out. He also does lots of problem carbs.

Welcome Rick, dragging old bikes - and cars - back from the brink of the wreckers is a good hobby. Good luck with your bike mate.
