I was saving up for one of those as a young teenager, $666, then a Norton '64 650SS come up,,Mum helped,,
This one falls under the rare category. Didn't know it existed. Yamaha SDR200, came up for sale here on Facebook for 100000 Thai Baht.
I am not normally a big fan of 2 Strokes... but the more I see of this little model the more I like it... Looks like it has been cobbled together from a parts bin with SRX250 3WP front end and wheels... I love the tubeular frame and expecially love the tubular swing arm and solo seat... This is a pic from Zenmarket, why they put the screen on it beats me...
Agree. It would look better without the screen. They are a very light little bike. 105kgs dry, 115kg wet.
2 or 3 of those came in as grey imports local to me. At least one frame has been used in local bucket racing. Once the motor has gone apparently no-one could source parts so it became a nice rolling chassis. Until the poor quality plating starts flaking off the frame.....One sitting in a mates shed, corroding slowly away.
