The main problem of my bike is "shaking braking", due to right hand disc (it's slightly crooked). Kawasaki OEM parts are: - 41080-1309-5C (lh) - 41080-1310-5C (rh) I usually order OEM parts here: https://www.cmsnl.com/ They have only the left hand, but obviously it cost a lot (€336) As you may already know, A/B model front brake discs are different from C/D1 I discover that EBC (https://ebcbrakes.com/) made specific rotors for A/B and C/D1. You can see here: https://ebcbrakes.com/assets/Flip-Catalogues/Intl-Full-Catalogue-May-2019/mobile/index.html (pages 54/55). On ebay i can take the 2 discs (with the pads) for €360, but i don't really like them Some UK seller sell Tour Max rotors (made in Japan): They cost much less (€100 each) and have a design more similar to the original But it is never clear if there is really a model for C / D1. The codes often overlap with the model A/B. You can see them on these shops: https://www.mymotoparts.co.uk/?utm_medium=company_profile&utm_source=trustpilot& utm_campaign=logo_click https://secure.bitzforbikes.co.uk/ I try to ask them some information but they never reply... I'm also looking for used discs in good conditions, but it's hard to find...
Would these fit? They're a lot cheaper and price is for a pair https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Front-Floating-Brake-Rotor-For-KAWASAKI-KR250-ZXR250-400-ZZR400-ZX6R-ZR-GPZ-HY/163544385513?_trkparms=aid=555018&algo=PL.SIM&ao=1&asc=59539&meid=0f9ba555000347b78cdc4c20d0d1db13&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=12&sd=400767765010&itm=163544385513&pmt=1&noa=0&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Same disc's here ? Listing say's A / B models though https://www.aliexpress.com/item/328...hweb0_0,searchweb201602_10,searchweb201603_55
Some used rotor's here, check the postage rate's though http://ilovemotor.jp/shop/c/c7010_dD_mM03_sgn_p3/
When you see it fits also for ZXR400 and other it means they are for A/B model, confirm by manufacturer (Tarazon, China). C/D1 models have lower offset. I see those items one week ago and they reply quickly...They sell to Italy...Thickness is 3.6mm and minumum is 3.5mm... And with the customs fees it's more than €200... I don't think it makes much sense...
Yes, these ones fits on my bike, confirm by manufacturer (Tarazon, China) ...but i don't like wave rotors...and it seems to me that I have also read in this forum that they are not really exceptional
Yes, wavy rotors were invented for dirt bikes. Reducing the surface area of your disc is a stupid idea but a lot of people just follow fashion. Some of the Chinese sellers will declare the value lower for you. What about EBC brake discs?
EBC was an important UK brand, and it made good products, and they are the only one i'm sure have rotors for my bike, maybe it's best choice for me, although they haven't in stock...I was hoping someone in here had already tried them I use the bike in this condition since i bought it, this spring i took a 1500km trip around Austria and Slovenia, but now it's time to solve this problem...
You could buy one disc now and one later. PFM UK make both stainless and iron discs and at least the rotors are available separately from the centres if you ever had to buy them again. http://www.thestopshop.co.uk/pfm-disc-shop/ Not cheap though. Many owners on this forum have reported that the cheap discs from China wear out very quickly, so they are probably not hardened.
Thanks. I only read it now, sorry... Now i try to contact them, but i think they don't have discs for C model...they list for H1/H2 (?) model from 90 to 93, and the same kit is for ZXR400 89/90...so you know what i mean... This bike has EBC discs on...and they are awful
