Hi, my name is Peter and I live in The Netherlands. I am a great fan of classic cars and I am the proud owner of a Ford Mustang (1967), a Triumph TR6 (1969) and a Triumph Spitfire MK3 (1970). The cars have all been restored and are fun to drive. Of course there is always some work to be done on the cars, but nothing major. There was no more room left in the garage for another large project (my wife thinks that is a good thing and she is probably right) and selling one of my cars is not an option, so I went searching for a small motorbike for my next project.

Initially I decided I would try to find an old Honda CB250 that needed restoring, but while searching I came across a Yamaha XS250 from 1979. I liked the way it looked and last week I decided to add the bike to my collection. It is a bit weary and in need of a lot of TLC, but that is exactly what I was looking for.

While searching for information and manuals on the internet I came across this forum and I decided to join.

I will post some pictures soon.
