Problem is as follows: Saturday coming back from work, my indicators wernt blinking at all and the bike started throttling randomly and then died. Pulled over and tried starting it but the dashboards globes dimmed really low. After 15 tries the bike randomly kicked back into life and i bought a battery quick smart. Today it happened again. This time i was at a stop and my blinkers stopped working, i tried flicking them on and off, thinking maybe someone was messing with the switch, but suddenly the bike died completely. Pushed the POS 100 metres and tried starting it again. This time a very loud clicking and vibrating came under my seat. Pulled the seat off and noticed making the noise. Someone pulled over and suggested giving it a good whack but still didnt start. I rang the GF who dropped the tools off and started removing the wires on the solenoid, thinking corrosion got to it. Once again it didnt start. Symptoms: Random blinkers, will blink sometimes when HL's are off, wont when on. Random throttle/revs then died. New battery. Pump might not be pumping, but this might be due to it being full of fuel. EXUP is doing its job. Now is the solenoid doing its job, is it dead, or it something else? EDIT: pic is not my bike, thats way to clean.
All those symptoms - I would go with the battery being flat again. Check the battery is being charged . Read this viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3420
