So with my fairings nearly complete I'm now looking for something to protect them from the hot engine . The original stuff appears to be a foam type insulation but that has pretty much all disintegrated . What do you guys use? I used acoustic/thermal sheeting from these guys all thru my Land Cruiser and it worked a treat ... the autos are known for getting extremely hot along the tunnel .... they have a great range ... they sell on ebay also https://www.carbuilders.com.au/
