Hi, i recently bought a 1989 fzr 250 2kr. It's hard to find parts here in our country so i was wondering if there were alternatives from other bikes (r15, r3, r6, r1, etc). Im looking specifically for throttle and clutch cables right now but other alternative parts may come in handy in the future. Thanks!

Ebay might be a good way to go, I got a lot of parts for my 3HX1 (2kr) from there.

I was thinking of ordering from ebay but shipping is quite expensive. it's almost double the price lol. I'm gonna try aliexpress cause it says free shipping. thanks guys!

I live in the cities but in the philippines where shipping is really expensive. The old owner snapped his cable and replaced it with a new one but is too short so the idle is all messed up. The clutch cable is also in the brink of breaking.

Oh nice. So just to be clear, as long as the part numbers are same then it should fit?

For example the 2kr-26121-00. Let's say i find a part with part number 1fa-26121-00 then it will fit? Thanks!

No it won't fit, the prefix and suffix for the part number denote the model for the bike, the middle number's eg; 26121 are Yamahas' basic number for a throttle cable
