I really love how stock it looks from 10 metres away even after all the work that was done, real stealthy design. I love it anyway, great to see something different.
OK so it's been a while, again! The bike has now been registered for about 3 weeks and I'm having a lot of fun on it. Now that I'm getting to do longer rides, I'm finding new issues that I'll need to work through but overall I'm really happy with the way it's turned out. Will now start saving up for a bigger and better battery pack! I managed to convince the family to go for a drive with me on one of my rides so I could get some video.
This is sooo cool, i enjoy seeing this every time i read about it. Gotta get a go pro setup and footage. Need to hear that electric whine.
Even though I am not a fan of electric bikes, you have done a great job. I would much rather see this than a cafe/brat/bobber/whatever butchered pile of garbage. I also think it is cool that you have kept it looking OEM. Keep up the good work.
Agreed, you came onto the forum and said hey I'm doing an electric conversion, and the you DID it - so many projects don't get completed and I am as guilty as anyone, you got your done - congrats
