    G’day
Thanks for allowing me to join.
Just got hold of a ZXR250, C model I think. Needs a lot if TLC but should be a good project. Searched everywhere on the net for manuals & info but very hard to come by. Look forward to a yarn & possibly some help along the way.
    Cheers...

Cheers...She’s a bit rough around the edges. The pic’s talk it up a bit.
Picked it up for $200 bucks. Couldn’t let it go for that. Got it to run briefly but needs full overhaul.
Paint is rough so I think fairing repair & respray is in order.
Ordered carby parts today n start from there...

Welcome and congrats, it doesn't look too rough for the price and you've definitely come to the right place - this forums is like restoration project central with some real craftsmen in attendance

Parts catalogues and workshop manuals are still fairly easy to get in Japan:

    https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/search...-1&oq=&sc_i=&exflg=1&p=zxr250&x=0&y=0&fixed=0

Text is Japanese of course, but most tablets and smart 'phones can be used with translator programs to convert it into something you can understand (usually!).
Parts catalogues can often be found cheaply (less than 1000 Yen), although cheap workshop manuals are rarer. However, patience and persistence should see you pick them up for a reasonable price. If you don't know anyone in Japan that can buy them for you, you'll probably have to use an agent though.

    Good luck!

    Regards,
    James
