Hey. Im new to 250cc and bought a across a few montys back.
So yesterday i bought a 1988 gpx250r. Got it at a cheap price with low ks on it. Ive looked at some specifications for it and all i find is that it spose to have a single disc brake front end but this one has twin disc.
Any ideas why or what it is?

I concur with @Linkin, post a picture. You are correct as the gpx only has a single disc, perhaps someone fitted a zxr250 front end?
A photo will soon tell us, the forks will tell us the story.

From memory there was a special edition only released in Japan with twin disks. The very first GPX250's were belt driven as well.

If you have windows 7, open image in paint, hit resize, I do all of mine to 1000x750 and then upload to imgur. Copy bbcode img link and just paste it then post

Open in paint, resize to 10%, save and post.

Definitely looks like an import if it has ADR compliance papers

its a GPX250R - II known as the EX250-G - Sold only in Japan, this version was known as the GPX-250R-II. It had dual front brakes and a wider wheel and tire (110/80-16). All other parts were identical to the GPX250-F model.

if you have a windows machine, then please install this app

    https://imageresizer.codeplex.com/

All you do is find your images in Windows explorer, right mouse and select Resize Pictures, select your resolution ( hint, I use medium) and you are done.
