Would have gone if not at another event.
ARNO were made in Coventry, England from 1906 to 1914 with 250, 350 and 500cc engines.

That one was a 249cc single rotor from 1975. Quite powerful and torquey to ride from reports of the day.
    From my Encyclopedia of Motorcycles.
Hercules was a German company started in 1904 in Nuremburg. They built a range of bikes with engines from 50 to 350cc with Moser, Sachs and Ilo (German) and JAP from England. They were taken over by Zweirad Union in 1966. Three years later they were taken over by Fichtel and Sachs. In 1970 the W2000 Wankel engined model (sold in USA as a DKW) was released. They made enduro models through the 1980's and 125cc Sachs engined bikes for the German army. During the 1990's they sold re-badged Peugeot scooters before finally folding in 2002.
