Hi folks. Thanks for the add. Have had a few Suzuki 250's over the years (RG250 and RGV250) and have just picked up a rather sorry looking '87 GSXR250 (GJ72A), for full restoration.
Looking forward to picking your collective brains, over the coming months !
    Best regards.

    :welcome:

I have a GJ73A that is in need of a restoration, slow progress at the moment, waiting on EMS to start shipping from Japan to Australia again.

Hey @Linkin, I am always getting stuff from Impex. It is about 7 days shipping time. The time to Aus is slow but it is still happening. Let me know if I can help you out.
    Cheers

Welcome to the forum. First things first, check the compression. Then comes carby clean and new seals if it needs it. Check diaphragms. Clean rust out of tank, tidy HT leads, fit new plugs and hopefully she comes to life.

Cool, I have some stuff sitting in Buyee's warehouse waiting for EMS to become available again. I'll have to go and check it again.

Just bought replacement fairings. Engine turns freely.....compression test next, then carbs are going in the sonic cleaner.......funny little things, aren't they ?!
