I have lost interest in the project because I have a new bike. For a few hundred dollars and a bit of elbow grease you could have a great little bike on the road. The rego has lapsed. It is on the wovr (water ingress) but was running nicely after I restored it. Pretty good condition with relatively new rear tyre and recovered seat. See attached photo. Not in NSW unfortunately... WOVR means it cannot be registered here.... bummer as it is a nice looking bike. The VTR looks good in Yellow.
