If y'all haven't taken the time, it is a 24 cylinder. Valve adjustment anyone?

If you look hard its two V12 engines on either side, like >< So thats what... half a litre per cylinder. And talk about a hell of a noise!!! And I don't see the gear shift leaver, but who would need one???? Who needs gears when you have a 12 litre engine under your crotch!?

you know I doubt this "bike" coud run very long: - Look at the size of the fuel tank in comparison to the motor! It'd need a constant supply of fuel from a petrol bowser...

Heh heh. It's amusing reading all your posts when you know the bikes real history... But I think I'll let you guys figure it out yet.

A workmate has had a large poster size copy of this print in his workshop for years. So it has been around for a while.

I can't see if the tyres are flat under the weight of those engines, but at the risk of making a fool of myself, I would have say the engine is sitting on chocks. It also doesn't look like its steerable.

I s'pose someone will prove me wrong.

It was an ad in a '60s British bike mag for dunlop tyres "HAS YOUR ENGINE OUTGROWN YOUR TYRES"

??????????????????????????? WOULD THAT BE CLOSE???????????????????????

Not bad. Something like that. I read (from where the pic is)

"Think it was Avon Tyres promo mock up circa '78. Caption
read something like 'It doesent matter how big your motor is if your tyres
dont work'"

But i doubt that it works. Not practical, even possible if you think about it?

The real information has probably been lost somewhere in the space-time continuim though. Maybe some one from NASA will bump into it next time they're up there

As if NASA actually gets up there, have you heard the conspiracy? Apparently, the moon really is made of cheese and that nobody actually ever walked on the moon - its all in your head!

But when I first looked at the bike I thought it said 1200cc, then realised it was actually 12,000. I just went - faark!

Would love a bike like that, though. The bigger the bike, the better rep you get! Woohoo!
