I'm looking at getting a replacement rear shock for my 1990 CBR250RR MC22. I found a YSS shock MZ366-280TR-21 (http://www.wemoto.com.au/bikes/hond...an/90-93/picture/rear_yss_z-series_monoshock/), which is listed as fitting the MC22. I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this shock, or knows if this will actually fit. It's a pretty reasonable price and it's available. Cheers!
I posted about this earlier see https://2fiftycc.com/index.php?threads/rear-shock-data-swaps.10146/ Have not seen any one report about having fitted one though. I was quoted 9100 THB locally which is 400 AUD so the price is okay compared to Webike. My plan is to adapt the late model CBR250 Ohlins to fit my MC22 as it is only slightly more expensive. Both of them are made here in Thailand.
I will be buying a YSS shock for my Honda NS400R. I see it may work in my MC22 as well. With the adjustable ride height the NS shock will be a minimum of 295 mm which is 15 mm longer than the MC22 shock. Spring rate will be a bit different too and may need to be softer due to the shorter swing arm on the MC22. I will update when i get the YSS
