Pre-emptive replacement parts

    So I don't really know a whole lot about my bike's mechanical history apart from where it's been serviced, and anything I stuffed since I bought it, so I hatched a dastardly plan to buy replacement parts early and keep them for when I need them.

    So far I have the usual maintenance stuff like lube, oil, tyre pump, rear stand, chain brush & tools.

    New sprockets + chain just arrived on the doorstep this afternoon:

    What I also have on the shopping list:

    Spark plugs
    Battery
    Brake fluid
    Brake discs + pads

    What am I missing?

    The grand plan is to have everything ready for the 24,000KM service & have the shop change everything over

    Coolant? the shop? you could do all that quite easily and save a **** ton of money or take all the maintenance stuff with you to Tamworth and I am sure @GreyImport @Grasshopper @Th3_Huntsman @kiffsta will be able to help you :) Obviously that would cost a carton but hey you'd still save money :p

    Yeah, good job to do yourself on a weekend.... Or if you bring the bike to Tamworth, can do it then...

    Battery is something I wouldn't really be worries about until it starts to drain. buy a multi meter and run it over it every month or so depending on the usage the bike gets or buy a trickle charger :)
