    nah, I have a perfectly good Jeep for days like this... is a jeep thing, you wouldnt understand :thumb_ups:

    i am on the bike in about 30 min to head home from eagle farm (near BNE airport) to redcliffe (about 25 min drive with no traffic or rain). there is also a storm just north of brisbane at the moment right where i am heading.

    Let me tell you, the Sunshine Coast has been belted all day with heavy rain and wind that won't ease up......take care on the bike

    i will, heading up sandgate road and if it get's to bad along the way my partner's grandmother is along the way will park up and get a ride home.

    2 hours to get home (usually 45 mins), Jeep did me proud with a few water crossings along the way :thumb_ups:

    Road flooded out of work so we sat and drank some beers till water dropped to about a foot and got out!!

    so, by the time i got home last night bike was not liking me and running a bit rough. new oil and filter, wd40 everywhere and a radiator flush and new coolant and running great again

    last week roughly the same number of people lost there lives here from the flood and one was an old lady driving through water over the road.

    IMO this saga cheapens the idea of crowd funding, imagine how $20k could have been spent on something more worthwhile, if you have a lemon then trade it...
