There has been mention in a number of threads about using Surface Temp heat guns to help balance cylinder temperatures during tuning..

Just wondering which guns people are using and where they obtained them...

I have a cheap eBay one, never used it for carbs, I shine the light in the floor and the dog chases it , best $12 I have ever spent

I don'y have a dog, so I use mine to test temps are similar across all pipes. One low normally means fouled plug or too rich for whatever reason.

Another item that come's in handy when using the digital non contact Temp gauge is my non contact digital Tachometer,
especially with the FZRs' factory tacho starting at 3000 rpm
It come's with a length of reflective tape to cut aa strip off and stick across the flywheel etc and count's the number of revolution's.
(Come's in handy setting the idle rpm on the car, and work's on anything that spin's)
Another ebay china purchase, $11.50 inc delivery
