    I'm just curious...
I was just checking out the new LAMS Z650 and I noticed something I don't remember seeing before.
The left and right sides of the swingarm don't match.
I know Honda (at least) made a single-sided swingarm a few times but is it unusual to have non-matching sides, or have I just not noticed it before?

Braced swingarm, increase rigidity and reduces flex

The curved right side of the swing arm could be for muffler/tip clearance ?

That makes sense, @my67xr . I looked at the rear after you said that and that muffler is almost invisible from the back, so I guess it needs the clearance. Thanks :)

Yeah same sort of thing with the similar design on the RGV250 VJ22/VJ23's swingarm
