So that kit number isnt for the ZXR250 ? ... I cant even find the ZXR250 listed on the All Balls site

I would do that for all the bearings and seals

I bought that exact kit on ebay and it stuffed me over when I had the bike apart and the bearings were wrong  Had to scrounge around at work at match bearings with our spares, I only found one, I had to pull it apart again and replace the top bearing later.

The kit number was as in the listing, the seller was unhelpful with the problem.

    BIG update!!

Runs absolutely beautifully. Everything works. Has a current registration and warrant of fitness too!! Bike is complete, few small issues: needing new air pipes, pillion seat doesnt want to stay on, needs a service and it is dirty as hell. Needs some tires too, I'll have to roll on some Shinko 006's till I get some money for something better. Price on the rear is the same for GPR300 as it is for Shinko, but the front is $130 more. Not sure if it is worth the extra money.

The black bike will be going up for sale soon. I'd love to keep it purely for parts for the new one, but I am afraid that is not really an option, though I might steal the slightly better air pipes from it. Need to check the reg/rec on the new one, make sure it isn't melted. The black bike has had all those parts repaired and upgraded, so I'll be swapping them across.

I am so excited, I've dreamed about having one of these for years, I got the black one but was unable to make any progress on it, so I bit the bullet and paid a bit more for a good running one.

I've got a month to get my gear, new tires, give her a good service(what do I do for this? Just oil and filter?) and hopefully fix the air pipes, and then I'll be doing my license and actually getting out on the road to ride, legally, for the first time ever!

Hmmm, wonder how much it would cost to ship black bike to California...

manually typing in [ img] [/ img] tags still works...

You wouldn't want it, really. However, there is an absolutely spectacular completely restored SP model with under 9000 Miles here too, I'll see if it is still available. It was going for about 6000 of your US Yeehaw's (or whatever they are called under the imperial system.)

@DannoXYZ Lots of US citizens are importing the 250 & 400s from Japan lately. Shouldn't be difficult to pick up a gem at a good price. Logistics from Australia is a nightmare unless you want a tanker full of dirt, oops I meant ore.

I mean, I'd be happy to sell it to someone on here, but It has too many Km's and I feel like since shipping is going to be 3x the price of the bike, you probably would want to buy one that is in good running condition, and there are a few in NZ here that might suit.
