Well this was my first attempt at a build up of a early Suzuki, I bought it from Chris Dupen at Netbikes.com.au and it was in a sorry state. I stripped it down and started buying bits for it. The top plate of the engine casing was cracked so I purchased a bottom end off Ebay with a Triumph tank and set about rebuilding the bike. I really had no idea how to do this, although I did cheer when I manged to get it started.

I did plenty of things wrong with this resto including spending a stupid amount of money on it, in the end it sat unfinished for months as I couldnt find the correct forks for it. In the end I put it on Ebay and a friend of mine bought it. Chris Dupen from Netbikes then completed the resto and transformed it into a Cafe racer. I saw the compeletd bike a few weeks back and really miss it.

here are some pics of the build up.
