Leaking/split intake manifold's ? Does it change the idle in any way if you spray WD40, Carby Cleaner or degreaser etc on the rubber intake manifold's below the carby's when it's iding ?
I didn't try it! I need idea what to do to trouble shoot the problem..i'm thinking the cooling system is not working!how do i check if it is working..
i think it's more likely an air/vacuum leak than cooling system. Running it with no air filter isn't a good thing. Have you rejetted it at all, what size were the jet's and what size are in it now ? To check the cooling system, take the tank off, and radiator cap off, start the bike and let it warm up. Check the coolant is moving as it warm's up. You should see the coolant swirling around a bit as it warm's, then it will drop a little as the thermostat open's. Turn the bike off then or the coolant level will rise and go everywhere If there are small bubble's popping in the coolant when it's running then it may be a sign of a leaking head gasket
Yes i dont have air filter i put some after market air filter..my jets is 100(2,3) 103(1,4) main jet 15 for pilot jet.. Keyster guide help me what to put!
Does the fan turn on? I had that problem with mine. Run some wires direct to the battery and check it works. Then check your thermostat works.
A 15 pilot jet sound's a bit small to me? How many turn's out is you mixture screw ? Is your bike a 3LN3 or a 3LN1 ? Sorry i've forgotten Going by the Keyster listing's- 3LN1 Pilot jet is normally a 37.5, with a 102.5 Main in the outer carb's, and 100 Main in the inner 2x carb's 3LN3 Pilot jet is normally a 42.5, with a 97.5 Main in the outer 2x carb's, and a 100 Main in the inner 2x carb's Just noticed, it seem's strange that one is jetted richer on the inner's and the other is richer on the outer's ? I might need to look at the factory manual too
