Cutting original cams?

    hi guys

    im modifying 1 of my spare heads and want to cut the cams, im wondering if anyone has done it and could share some light on it.

    Have to agree with risky, would only consider this type of work to be performed by pro's.

    Normally cutting original cams would be done to change the lift profiles &/or durations, on something that already revs to ~18K, that's pretty much already been done from the factory.

    If you wanted to lessen the tune, get some Zeal cams

    the cams are going to the engineers but what i wana know is, what drgree they can cut it,what valve clearances will i have to use, ect?

    depends on what you want to use it for... road or race. the cams are pretty savage stock.valve clearance the cam grinder will tell you. if cams tooooo savage open up the clearance.
