Yong called today, he had an off on the across, he is okay, sore hands and a sore knee. I picked up the old girl.. she is going to need some loving to get her back on the road

Yong, as long as you are ok that's all that matters. From the pics I think mainly cosmetic, but forks and handlebar look ok.

    What happened?

Thanks guys. I'm still well and all, just a little sad about the across! it went from hidden gem to diamond and now back to carbon form

i guess i have been watching just a little too much of Marc Marquez on motogp lately:p
haha to be honest i don't exactly remember what happened, i was going into a corner nicely, probably leaned in a little like i always do and the next thing I know i'm lying on the road. Funny thing is the bike stood up on its own and went on a few meters without me. I was looking at it and went....come back!

but there was a pothole right right after the corner. I guess that must be why I lost control. But yeah it was a pretty good hit. Luckily there was no car behind me at that time. A couple of good blokes stopped by, sent me to the medical centre and invited me over to their house and rest for a bit. Love Australia!

But the adrenaline thing is real! I picked up the bike with one pull after I dropped it which I normally wouldn't be able to do it!

Managed to do a bit of work on Yongs bike, so far I removed all the broken bits (its heaps harder to remove bent bits than when they are straight). I replaced :

    Fairing\Gauge bracket
    Gauges
    Headlight
    LH panel
    LH switch block

All it needs is a windscreen and Yong can be back on the road. IM positive I have one, but I have scoured the garage and cant locate one GGGrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Well Yong and I did our level best to get the old girl on the road, in fact he was able to ride her home at midnight

Wont win any concourse events looking like that, in fact neither will the bike :)
