Greetings fellow single trackers. I have been messing around with the GB250 Clubman's lights. In the UK we are allowed to run with amber front parking lights, but obviously a white headlight. The GB250 is factory fitted with 21/5watt front indicator light fittings, but only the 21watt part is wired in. I had a knowledgable friend adapt the wiring so the 5watt part now illuminates when the light switch is activated, two amber forward facing 'daytime' lights, all nice and legal, providing the 5watt part extinguishes when the indicator is activated, which it does. So far so good. I have fitted a digital indicator flasher unit so that LED bulbs can be used without altering the flash rate. I fitted a pair of 21/5watt LED's to the front, the 5watt part is bright white, and the 21watt part flashes bright orange. After fitting the bulbs I tested them without the lenses and the relevant light outputs were amazing. So, the whole point of this diatribe being, does anybody know of a supplier of clear lenses that would fit this bike. Keeping fingers and legs crossed in hope! Regards, Mike.
Just google searching now for "clear motorcycle indicators" or "clear motorcycle blinkers" brings up some results. It just depends on how original do you want to keep the bike.
