Also regarding the pistons, this is how an OEM vs alibabba one looked like: With the rough one I wasn't too comfortable putting it inside the engine.

I have a 94 bandit partially disassembled that I'm willing to part out.
unfortunately i don't have the right tools to measure the bore for you but.
Give me a day or two to post some pics to see what you think.
from memory i still have the gasket on it as well.

    Ok so here's the thing.
The 94 motor (which is the same as the 92) is at the back of the container on a shelf.
I'm happy to buy an I'd diameter tool off eBay to find out the bore of it and I have a caliper set to measure the pistons but...
The question is...... are you happy with what you have going or would you like me to get measurements to replace your cylinders?

89 - 94 is the same base gasket.
95 onwards has a different part number (gj77a models).
I assume there would be a difference for the oil galleries.

Hah yes, that was me. In the meantime I found the aftermarket gaskets on Y! Auctions (bought via buyee) and I can confirm that they're good, so I can definitely recommend them. If you want to knock out the middleman, the guy also sells them on eBay, his username is yassuga_28. I ordered a set for my GJ72, GJ73s, and will definitely order one for my Impulse.

They look the business. I think we can say that the Suzuki head gasket problem is solved.
