My little CBR250r MC19 has a footpeg height that is uncomfortable on brake side even fully adjusted it sits to high for easy access to the brake without effort. Have now purchased an adjustable one and will see if it improves my riding position.
Now fitted new pegs, need to drill locating hole for spring but now able to get a better position without bending brake lever.
Pegs is a little too far out to get right across the brake but feels in a better postion so I don't rest too much weight on the brake.
Hey Brian looks like you're across it, in case that solution doesn't work out for you function wise, something which I discovered when I was with Kiffsta as he was organising to close down Motorecycle is that both the CBR250RR MC22 and the hyosung bikes, GT250R and IIRC GT650R use the same footpeg bracket bolt hole spacing. I expect that the MC19 will be the same. Looking at this ebay auction https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/234300825436 One possibility for you may be to get the adapter plates and swap them side for side so that you can lower your OEM brackets and pegs. That would put your peg and brake lever back in line with only a small offset outwards for both foot pegs.
Thanks for the link, I decided to modify the clevis for the original footpeg so 3mm at the clevis gives me a couple of cm at the bake pedal and still looks factory.
Looking at my bike it does not seem that much difference in height, I maybe losing it. Is it much higher?
Thanks for the shot, I have now lowered the brake pedal so I can now rest my foot on the pedal without loading up the brake.
