So this fellow followed me home today. It's a 1991 Suzuki GSF400. A friend of mine had one when they were new and I remember it being a fun little bike. This one wasn't running, so I got it for a song. Owner claims that "it smokes when you start it". I'm thinking valve seals or head gasket. It came with some interesting extra bits and it was clearly somebody's project at one time. I'll post updates as I get into it.

Looks pretty clean. I was seriously considering one of these or a CB1, but ended up getting a deal on a leftover Hawk GT.

Got my first batch of parts. Big thumbs up to LiteTek for the usual amazing carb service kit.

I'm seriously itchy to tear into this bike but I've got two other bikes that need attention first. I've learned from bitter experience that one thing at a time is best for me. Hopefully the parts will motivate me to get through the other stuff.

I still need a battery and some tires. I also need to decide what I want to do about the forks and shock, but that can wait until it's actually running.
