    Hey guys.
I thought I'd ask you (instead of my 61 yr old father) about my next project.
    I love yellow!
    Anything yellow! (Don't be racist)
The thing is, for my new project the wheels are yellow.

I want to do either of these colour schemes.
    Rossi Nastro Azzurro style...
    image.jpg
    Smoking Jo's style.
    image.jpg
I personally like the smoking Jo's style but I think no one will buy it when I'm done.
Your opinions will be the most considered.
I think in the end the most logical choice would be to paint the wheels anything but yellow...
    Cheers in advance.

colour is a personal preference and i like yellow bikes as they can be seen. either one would interest me.

Agree with risky, colours is up to the individual however I don't think you would have any problems with either as many people love the trip down memory lane. Racing Camel team\ Lucky strike racing\ Rothmans etc.
Surprise us Paul, we look forward to your build.:thumb_ups:

Man.... **** it. I'll just buy another and do both.
I really wanted to do a cast roll bike next but yeah.... May be later now.
I'm finishing a cbr125 in yellow now too so that will kinda give me an idea of heaps of yellow.
    Thanks guys.
My dad just likes old school and since he works with me, if its not what he likes, he gives me brain damage till its sold. Lol

Ive always liked the camel colours and the nastro livery is one of my Rossi favs also .

I think the old school schemes are appealing ...alot more than the modern ones

Man I remember back in 99 my boss got a cbr900rr tiger like that.
I thought he was a dick getting an orangy coloured bike! Lol
I went as a passenger and I was so scared!
He also had a import cbr400rr. Never really seen any round tho now.
It was burgundy so I thought it was more gay than the orange.
Funny how now my opinions changed... Lol

What's wrong with a 61 year old?? This 61 year old thinks all colours are good on a bike. Not sure about pink polka dots, though.

    About what your Dad said.
Dressing up a single cylinder 250 with plastic to make it look like some sort of half sports, half streetfighter bitza. Ok fine, I can accept that they want to make the cheapest piece of junk possible. I mean come on. Name one part on that bike that is top shelf? The suspension? No! the brakes? No! The engine? No! So what does that make it? It is a commuter.

If they had called it the "Fighter 250", I would have left it alone and had a quiet chuckle. Each to their own right?
But giving it the moniker of CBR250? That is beyond the pale. Since Honda feel free to slag off every CBR owner on the planet, I feel free to give some back.

It doesn't matter how much lipstick you put on a pig it is still a pig.
    cheers
    Blair
