    Hi,

Just wondering who has changed tyres and what to an why.

As well as the size have you changed the width/height or both.

    Cheers

Hi there, I changed the tyres on mine. I did it pretty much straight away after I bought it. The stock tyres are just dodgy, they are hard and slipery and my rear was cast with a buckle in it so it would wobble at speed. I changed them to Pirrelli Sport Demons same size as stock, they have worn really well and when warm stick suprisingly well on the twisty's.
All depends on what you want to do with the bike as to what tyres you should get.

    Cheers.
    Blake.

    Hey Stef
Tyres, great subject that will surprise you with the various responses you'll get.
We all seem to have an affinity with one brand or another, honestly can't tell you why!
Blake is very happy with Pirelli's, very good brand. Strange that I didn't share the same level of pleasure as my Pirelli's wore out in no time. With tyres costing a Kings ransom I look for performance and longevity as well. Currently have a set of Bridgestone 023 on my CBR and have over 13k and still going Strong.
Previous bike I ran Michelins and simply put, couldn't wear those tyres out.
So as you can see, we have have a different take on tyres. Shop around, get the best deal that you can, they are all good.
