    Hi Peoples.
I was searching for info on my lil bobber and up came your site. I had to join to check out the pics and some downloads. i hope you don't mind as my Hunter is a 350. I bought it with the pinstriping (Micky Hora) and have since added the saddle bags (USA Ebay.... Older Texan wouldn't sell till i sent him photos of the bike) and the spotties (Ebay...easy fit) and exhaust wrap (have changed to black because white gets dirty too easily. Currently it wont change down from third to second 90% of the time, luckily these things are geared so low that first isn't really usable anyway, and i am able to take off in 3rd. When i put it in for repairs (again) ill put on a 30 tooth rear and i saw on ebay a 15 tooth front that may fit. Im not a bike guy at heart (own a black 66 Mustang Fastback) but this lil bike gets so many favorable comments EVERY TIME i take it out that it is hard not to love it.... even when it fails on me. Would i recommend these bikes.... YES definately... i love standing out in a crowd of Harleys :)

Welcome johnnie. I don't think anyone will take offence about it being a 350, but it looks a cool ride.

    hi...
Just a quuck update. I got sick of the little chinese EFI 350 and swapped it out for a 2010 Suzuki GS500F. Turned out to be an easy swap. No more efi or gearbox problems plus I have twin carbs, auto lights, tacho, 150 more cc and a 6 speed box.

    Cheers

bugger me, I only just read this properly and I tip my hat to you good sir, I thought you had sold the Hunter and bought a GS500... but no, you have shoehorned in a replacement donk, do you need to get it engineer certified for insurance purposes ?

    Hi,
Have put a small video on utube, Once i poked (litteraly) the exhaust in i took it for a run down the street and back. search utube for ... hunter bobber gs500f
lol@ registration with this engine, then again both are LAMBS bikes. But thats a lot of trouble just so i can go to the foreshore markets for breakfast on a sunday morning, its still insured. (yes i do realise that its not legal)

The 500 definitely fills out the frame a lot better than the 350 and looks like it is meant to be there. What state are you in for rego n insurance purposes?

Its not registered with this engine, they r both twin cyl motors but im not goingvdown the rego road, my geabox was toast and the bike had wiring problems, I only ride it on sundays. If there is nothing wrong with the original engine than I wouldn't change it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Once you do this your bike is valueless to anyone but you and they aren't worth much to begin with. lol.
If it gets stickered then too bad so sad.
Make the change if you have too :)
