Help 180km out of one tank....

    Kawa '88 ZXR250A / 86' BMW K100. 1992 VFR400R
    they are, consier the ZXR has 4x carbies, compared to the lower output zzr250 with twin pots and carbs. - my 88' ZXR250A would consistently chew 6.0L/100km - i would run out on main 200km's on the money and switch reserve with a 20km range to find a bloody servo!! :lolsign: good bike though despite all its air leaks

    Hey greggie. The zxr is an extremely high revving bike and the real redline is at 18,000rpm so on mine at 100km/h in top gear it sits on 9500rpm

    I normally reach about 240 before hitting reserve, and thats a mixture of riding around town, stopping and starting and crusing on the motorway.

    I did a run last week. It was exactly 100km of 130+ and she took 6 litres to fill up

    Well it sounds like I'm getting a bit less than I should be. Hopefully once I get the carbs done it will be a bit better.
