Good day I have picked up a ZXR 250C as a project bike. The 4 cylinder 4 stroke ... just so there's no confusion Got her for about R1000 about 95$ US . ( and no it's not stolen I got papers for her) She needs lots of TLC. Wiring, ram pipes , CDI, basically she is in need of a complete rebuild. I desperately need a workshops manual and a wiring diagram. and where best to source parts. Please can someone advise .... Cheers from SA
Welcome aboard. You need to upgrade your membership to access service manuals here, reason being people would just come get the manual and not contribute in any way The price is $5AUD http://2fiftycc.com/index.php?account/upgrades For South Africa I am not sure where the best place would be for parts. Do you plan on replacing everything with OEM or just the essentials? PS: We love pictures & videos here - upload them if you have any. www.imgur.com is free

Good too have positive feed back. I will gladly pay the $5 AUD it's about R60 about 4X beers ... I'm sure I will survive. I will just replace the essentials with OEM ... I,m in two minds whether to keep her stock or go full custom ... maybe a bikini fairing or make her into a street fighter .... Was toying with the idea of a green anodized frame and swing arm with Pearlessant black top fairing and side panels then a goldish galvanising on rear sub frame and other steel brackets .... at the moment it's just to get her running then tear her appart have to hear her scream ....
Welcome to the forum! good luck with the build, zxr250s sound and look amazing and are sooo fun to ride
That looks mostly complete, body kits to match your tank paint scheme can be sourced off ebay, I can help out with parts if you need them. PM me what you are chasing, postage wont be cheap
I actually have all the side covers and the seats but they have all been painted plain green ... so I don't think back to standard colour scheme will be on the cards. . . my biggest problem is a complete wiring harness they guy who had it before me left it outside as you see it in the picture that was when I picked it up ... the rats had a field day with the wiring ... oh and the CDI is missing for the moment .... still looking for it in his garage.
