I put some new rotors on the front of my A model and the fasteners on one of the rotors is contacting the calliper bracket and gets worse once the axel is torqued. I've tried rebleeding that calliper but it didn't make a difference. Any idea what's going on? It's starting to hurt my head... It almost seems like there should be a spacer there.
They were advertised for the A model and they have the same offset as the old ones. Thanks Gray. I'll check that everything is there when I get home.
So after most of the day trying to work out the problem, I discovered that there seem to be a couple of contributing factors. The fasteners on the rotors are slightly thicker than on the original discs and the speedo/odometer thing seems to be slightly different than the one on my bike which I think may be slightly narrower causing the fork leg to be pulled on closer than it should be when the axle is tightened.
when everything is assembled but without the wheel nut tight at all ..... is there any gap or room for a spacer?
There is about 1-2mm gap. on the stop over at bunnings I had a quick look to see if they had any appropriate sized washers but was out of luck.
