I have my Ps coming up and last nite i have being practicing the slow manouvers.. i can do everything fine.. emergency stop was abit scary cause i did a stoppied lifting up the backwheel a metre high my mate said.. hahaha first big ass stopie and it was unintentional.

anyhows the hardest part i have found is the cone weave..

the cones are 3.6metres from each other and are 0.6m offset to each side so u have to go around each cone.. now i tried.. and i rekon i can do some real good slow manouvers but this was so difficult on the fzr... i actualled turned so hard and went so slow my bike fell over.. lucky i caught it just b4 it hit the ground so no damage.
wanna know if any1 can achieve this on the FZR? im just thinkin now to hire a cb250.. cause doin the cone weave is like hell crazy!!

Dean, Yeah I go for my p's pretty soon and I think the U turn and cone weave on an FZR would be tricky aye so i'm gunna borrow my dads DT-230 So all should be sweet

I have not tried any of it yet but, pure speculation

Damn fzr haha.. i can do the U turn perfect each time within 6.1 metres... i can do it in about 5.0-5.5 metres.. most of th etimes.. but the cone weave is like hell hard... damn freakin weave.

hmmm well, I have been riding since i was 4 and when i started i done that mini-cross stuff where ya gotta do all them games on a moto like, 4 bikes take offf weave throught 6 hats in a small space then grab a ring and return it to the front > you do this till no rings are left > I was state champ at it when I was like 15.

Only advice i can give is going faster usually helps and back brake is the key

hehe soz but that's all it got !! appart from slide the back end around

It is possible to do ur FZR and pass the Ps.. i could of done it just that the cone weave i set up was 120cms apart when they are in fact 60cms apart.
Is ur dads bike like a cb 250.. if it has a better turnin cicrle then go for it.. just get adjusted to it first. I practiced heaps for the Ps.. i can do a U turn on the FZR in 5.5 metres.. 90% of the time.. i must of done it about 200 u turns.. so its good to be able to do it most of the times in the roads.
Oh yeh I passed my Ps!! WOO HO!!!
