What are you guys doing, career/job wise?

    I wrote to the RTA a while ago on this matter, and got a response citing the law. It says that it is illegal to ride anywhere except in a designated lane - that means in between two lanes is illegal.

    But, it all comes down to enforceability. If a cop sees you, they may be inclined to give you a ticket, depending on their mood at the time.

    It's like speeding: just make sure there's no boys in blue around beforehand...not that I would do this, but I heard someone say that once.

    Remember: there's no such thing as safe speeding !!

    As for me, I am a mechanical engineer specialising in food/wine process technoligies. First love is in motorsport and gave up a job in Formula 1 to move to New Zealand. D'oh!!

    Motorcycle courier for DHL!! i drive a smelly Yamaha Neos 100c-c 2 stroke aroubd Dublin city all day and it sucks. currently persuing a career in the music industry.

    I am an electrical engineer for a company called ALSTOM Transport. I work on train control systems. We supply most of the railway operators in the country. I have to do alot of travel in my job.

    Im a mechanic in the nz army, in palmerston north. Only work on trucks though we bit different to bikes as im finding out...

    Well I'm a Poste... yep I work for Aus Post and I deliver mail!
    I have been at it for the past 5 years and now I'm starting up my own BIKE REPAIR busness... I will be also making fiberglass fairings and painting them...

    I will have FZR250 rairing avalable sooooonish... (CBR250RR and VFR400 are going to be first ones coming out of my factory)

    Sparky and Instrument technician (dual trade) at Australian Paper in Burnie. We make paper (Reflex, Xerox, Aust copy paper and others. Printer papers, glossy stuff for the certerfolds etc).

    Work on everything from lights to process control computers.

    I drive a 6x4 95 Man Truck, operate a SL 130 Samung Excavator
    and an old Fiat-Allis Loader. depending on the work for the day.
    To give each other a break, Hubby and I will swap around.
