Welcome to the site, and welcome to the world of riding! It is one of the most addicting and $ burning hobby I know of (there is always some new gear, mod, or bike that you are looking forward to). I know there is a decent contingent of riders in sydney - some other fzr riders on here, and I think you will also find many friendly sydney riders on Overclockers motorcycle forums.
thanks a lot for the welcome and yes i am looking forward 2 one day owning a r1(yum yum) hope 2 hear from other riders
also log onto <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.oroadsports.com">www.oroadsports.com</a><!-- w --> and <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.cbr250.com">www.cbr250.com</a><!-- w --> (no u don't have to have a cbr250 to join)

I dont really have a prefered mechanic as my husband services the bike for me and nothing has gone wrong with it (touch wood).
does your husband have a bike 2? im trying 2 convince my wife 2 get her licence( didnt mean 2 give u the wrong impression ) maybe ur hubby can show me how 2 service my bike?we should still catch up.
My husband rides a GSXR 750 he is a motor mechanic (cars) but finds the bikes to be fairly easy to service.
hey jonathon welcome to the club. I recommend ORoadSports.com, great forum, very active in regards to coffee nights and ride days/nights. This is also a good forum, particularly for info purposes on the FZR. You will have a hard time finding a mech. who will even work on an FZR, let alone do a good job. I find it easy to just service it myself, see the tech section on this site for how tos. If your carbys play up, i have been recommended to either go to clubman motorcycles at kogarah, or mick dyer motorcycles at penrith. I work in liverpool and quite often ride. We will have to organise a ride day soon for the sydney riders! Nathan
hey jonathon welcome mate. I live near liverpool and also have a blue fzr with r2 decals on it. Its currently in the mechanic but when i get it back we should go for a ride.
