lol. They have fair comments on some of the things (i.e. the powerband issue - we chuckled at that too). And we are trying to think of alternatives to the ranks. And our stunting isn't as though it is ludacrous - but what do you expect when the people who ride the fzr250 tend to be starting out. Wait till we move up to the 400's - then we'll show them how crazy we truly are - we'll ride without our feet on the pegs!!! And the advanced version - with one hand!!!
I dont think they fully got the concept that we are all 250 riders...and not all sk's like they are lol. Of course it is! And no worries about the thread - I see it doing two things. A) gives fzr250 some free advertising (after all it sounds like some people on oroad didn't know baout this site, and perhaps one or two may find it useful), and B) a little bit of humour.

I dont think any forum has any control over the stupidity of some questions...But then again...there are no stupid questions...just stupid people. haha
Should also note though that hotfzr250's question reowerband was justified. When I was first introduced to bikes (only 5 years ago) I didn't know a thing about them - I wasn't even sure if bikes usually have a foot clutch and hand shift or something else (and had a mechanic told me I need a new powerband I wouldn't have known if this was a piece of a bike or not). So being new hotfzr250 was being taken for a ride (pardon the pun) - fortunately he asked before his money was taken with him. My first one was a Yamaha, and so is my current one. I keep coming back for more. Had 2 other yami's betwixt and between others.
