    It's MINT condition, on a 89 plate with a Honda Rossi Replica paint job that looks the bollocks. <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

    I've never seen a FZR250 before, but they go for a 250! I'm in the UK, so it's a import and I guess parts will be hard to come by, but what are they like? Are they fun to ride? Are they good all round bike? What's the realibality like?

    Cheers, I'll be awaiting replies. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    Hey Luke, and welcome.

    Like any bike I guess, if its been treated right...they will last forever...there are people with over 80,000 kms on their lil fzrs.

    Theres always going to be some sorta gamble involved in purchasing a bike..and the best thing you can do is just check for visual signs that its been looked after.

    Fun bike to ride, for a 250 four stroke, the power is great. You can push them pretty hard round the corners no worries at all.

    The real truth is that they a very sensitive to correct fuelling and need good attention to maintenance of the exhaust valve if you want decent performance.

    Regular unleaded is fine.
    Just make sure you get your bike's carbies tuned & balanced for the particular sort of petrol you intend on using in it.

    FZR's just tend to get a little funny about their carbies; and don't whatever you do swear at it. She'll never start again if you upset her. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    Hey there I have an '86 2KR FZR also in the Uk down south to be precise! mine hasn't been on the road for long I brought it not running, but i'm absolutely loving it the revs take a while to get used to and everyone has said make sure you look after it and service it regularly, parts arn't too hard to get hold of I found this site just got some new pads etc for mine

    mine was in a local garage having the head gasket done they seemed really impressed with it, think i got a bit of a bargain even with a few teething problems!

    Dealer messed me around, so I didn't get the FZR250. I went and bought a VFR400R instead. <!-- s:-? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_Eyecrazy.gif" alt=":-?" title="Eye Crazy" /><!-- s:-? -->
