well people some of you i know and some of you i dont.
I used to own a 3LN Fizzer250 til it got sold bout 2 months ago.
They are such great bikes and i learnt a lot on it.
but the other day i moved on, yes i love yamaha and i love the Fizzer, it will always have a place in my heart, (and my back where i cracked my tailbone when i came off it )
but i am now the proud father of a 2003 Suzuki GSXR750, 3800kms and in very tidy condition.
here's a pic of my new pride and joy.

Nice one! My older bro used to have that exact model (in black and silver), spewing i never got to ride it before he flogged it off for a cheap honda 919 'blade. (which i have ridden, and is plenty fast anyway).

Nice bike. And I don't think you went to the darkside - the darkside would be a car. Let's just say you went to a different faction...

Sweet bike Nathan.

I thought you were going for a DRZ400 or something more geared to offroad.

See you out on the o-road soon.

lol yeah i was intending on going that way, but i missed ridin the road way too much. plus all my mates who had the trail bikes stopped riding them and are now looking for road bikes!

and with the price of fuel lately and the fact that our boss no longer lets cars park behind the station, (but he still allows bikes to) it made sense to me.

its bloody well amazing the difference in power, but god its good to sit on and ride a bike that fits my 6'4" height lol.

That 750 fits a 6'4" frame? I feel a little cramped at 6'2" on my 1000 and I'm skinny as hell too.

he moved from a fzr250 - so compared to that the 750 will be like a lazyboy for a 6'4" frame!

I'm really kinda surprised you found the Gixxer 750 comfortable at 6'4"! I'm the same height (ok, 6'3" if i've had a long day and my spine's compacted!), and found the Gixxer 6&7 way too small for my liking (tried the '01-'04's). The Gixxer1k was big enough, but then just didn't feel right.

Atleast i stayed true to the blue (tuning forks) with my FZR1k.

Which reminds me, i had an interesting convo with SOBIL a few weeks ago describing people as blood coloured by the manufacturer they support and generally stick to. SOBIL & I came to the conclusion we're definitely blue bloods (Yamaha).

Honda = Red blood
Kwaka = Green blood
Suzuki = Blue blood

(In this discussion, we elected that euro bikes we're an unrecognisable minority... although i'm happy to admit a kinda tomato red colour for Ducati )

Yamaha could be Red, Yellow or Blue (in that order, but blue only in the last couple of years).
Suzuki is Blue.

Norton would be black. Early Duc's would be black, but are now red. Triumph would probably be dark green and BMW a light metallic blue.
Aprillia would probably be black.
