Becks is the gas. But its too easy to drink, so a slab (carton) doesn't last that long. Doesn't really bother me thought, i just get another one, and you really don't seem to cop as bad a hangover from this stuff as you do from the CUB or tooheys shite. (sorry, beer is one of the few topics which distracts me from motorbikes)[/i]
You should all try Boags. It is a tasmanian beer and it is the best i have had.
I see.... then I can be of no help in that department...
Boags is good (and my favourite tassie beer), but try out Kilkenny cream ale if you want an easy drinking beer... It is my second favourite beer (first being Sleemans Cream Ale - only found in Canada and some of the North Eastern parts of the States, and even then hard to find...). But scotch is where it's at. Talisker anyone?
Boags Classic Bitter is my fav. Its a cold filtered and tastes like Carlton Cold but not as gassy. It has a real tase not like some of those dishwater beers like VB. Its probably not available on the north island of australia though. DAVE
I actualy don't drink alchol... (well pehaps a fiew times a year)... but my favorite beers are actualy polish bears... Kozol and some other... lighter beer...

My number 1 favourite drink would have to be Bourbon. Jim Beam anyone?
I don't mind an Extra Dry every now and again... and again.... and again. Don't mind a Shivas Regal on the weekends.
stella, coronas, heinekin, asahi are all nice tasting foreign beers, but value for money i love the carlton pure blondes, low carbs, full strength. drink as many as you want without getting that beer bloated feeling and they taste pretty good too.
the best cold beer is vic.... vic bitter http://members.optusnet.com.au/schiang/vb.mp3 simon
GARGH!!! NoOOOooOoOOooo... VB is baaaad. My sister likes it, but it's the one beer that I stay away from. too bitter. Toohey's Extra Dry chick here
