Hi guys,

My right indicator has started to play up. When i turn it on, the orange HUD light on the dash just stays on (no blinking). The front indicator also just stays on. The back indicator doesn't come on at all! The left side is totally fine. In neutral i can hear the tick sound slightly, but no left right rear indicator.

Does anyone know what this could be?

Thank you.

Indicators are buggers. If one doesn't work, they all go crazy. Perhaps you have a blown indicator, check the rear left one.

If thats not the case (it should be judging from the symptoms) there's a nifty thread here: http://fzr250.com/viewtopic.php?t=427

I'd start at the rear right indicator globe (the one that's not flashing or even coming on) and then check the wiring and connection.
It's not uncommon to get dirt, dust or grit in there and have it mess up the contact between the terminals and the globe - a bit of sandpaper on all contact surfaces should fix it up.

First and cheapest... check the globe.

The problem is solved. The bulb was blown, got a new one from supercheap, all good.

BTW, i did a search previously with "indicator fault" and nothing relevant came up.

Thanks
