    Hi
    Need to change my 3LN fork seals.
    Does anybody know the correct dims for the seals?
    Should be 3 dims, inner dia, outer dia & thickness (eg 38 50 10)
    TIA

    deft use of the forum search facility returns:

    47.8mm x 37mm x 2.3mm for a 2KR:

    35mm x 48mm x11mm for a 3ln:
    <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://www.fzr250.com/viewtopic.php?t=1400&highlight=fork+seals">viewtopic.php?t=1400&highlight=fork+seals</a><!-- l -->

    Mind you, it seems strange that they're so different from each other, and makes me wonder if either of them are correct :p

    You could always do what I did in the end - approach your local yamaha shop and ask them for some fork seals for an FZR 250 3ln3.

    Well I need to do my forks soon, and this is the only thread I've found with the dimensions (to aid in search: specifications specs size) of the fork seal.
    There still seems a bit of confusion on the size for the 3ln - what is it?

    I'm assuming for the 2kr it most probably is : 35 x 48 x 11 (as per TBone & Dave)

    I have a 3ln and we have: 35mm x 48mm x11mm (Casso's search - but It can't be the same size as a 2kr can it?)
    or as Yam4l0 "Just found out" they may be 38 x 50 x 11mm

    Anyone know for sure?

    PS: Anyone in melbourne planning to do their forks soon, perhaps we can get together and do it (the forks) together :p. This would be my first attempt with forks so am a little reluctant.

    The 3LN forks are a bigger diameter than 2KR - go for the bigger seals. You can measure across the shiny top part of the fork to confirm the I.D. of the seal.
