    I like it. It's got style.

    First thing I'd do is upgrade the front forks tho.

    I'd put a fatter rear tire on it.

    If it was any fatter, it wouldn't need a side stand. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

    It doesn't need a side stand... it needs an old tin can by the looks of it. <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: --> <!-- s:roll: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_roll.gif" alt=":roll:" title="Rolling LoL" /><!-- s:roll: -->

    I was thinking oil filter but they're generally not very load bearing. I'd imagine the end cap (the domed bit) would collapse in quite easily under pressure.

    Is your bike only good for 142mph ????? <!-- s:???: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt=":???:" title="Confused" /><!-- s:???: -->

    PS. That bike would be hard to get to turn a corner with those tyres on it, you would have to move your body out a fair way to get the bike to lean.. Perhaps it drives like a car on gentle curves.

    Well, that's all I've gotten it up to before I ran out of realestate. To tell you honestly, I don't want to know what it is capable of. All I know is, it gets me to Point B very quickly and in style.

    That right i suppose - I have only ever had 150k out of mine, never tried for more. I NORMALLY never go above the speed limits, but there are plenty of roads around here to hone your abilities at those speeds.

    I've just actually found out that a number of the airfields around Australia (and assumedly OS aswell) close off the strips on occasion for vehicle testing purposes. Was talking to one of my mates who just resprayed his 2KR and he said that it's not uncommon to hear of airstrips around the SE burbs of Melbourne to be restricted for a few hours on some days.

    I say keep the bullet runs for the air strips or race tracks, but by all means have a bit of fun. Everything in moderation. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> <!-- s:alcoholic: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_all_coholic.gif" alt=":alcoholic:" title="Alcoholic" /><!-- s:alcoholic: --> <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

    Having said all that, My bro-in-law called in last night and asked me to come along to Symmons Plains track next month. They are having a club day (I think it was TAS MOTORCYCLE CLUB?? not sure) and for a sum of $80 you get about six 1/4hour sessions on the track. Rules like no overtaking on the inside on the corners. He reckoned he had a ball last time. (Rides a Triumph Sprint).

    At least the left hand side of the tyres will get a workout. Can't wait to give it a go.
