sorry thats huge i ment to preview can an admin please delete it and i will repost something smaller thanks
this is mine (and the scrapes are from me) dont know who sprayed it but its gonna be re-done soon it looks to me like they've buffed the clearcoat away but my mothers partner is a panel beater and he reckons they started a cut and polish on it buffed it back but then havent polished it and with a polish it should come up good i find that hard to believe though
thanks dave just having trouble on what colour to paint it thinking of blue/white blue/ silver black/red or green probably in that order too wanna stick with blue or red so i can anodise some parts to match
Definitely needs some kind of enhancement on the rear faring, under the pillion seat. In other news, my once pristine machine: doesn't look quite so pretty after I failed to make a left hand curve on a country ride recently <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="" title="Sad" /><!-- s -->
I just meant some kind of sticker or different coloured paint in that area, to break the plain blueness up a bit. Give some definition and lines.
this is a pic of the bike i'm working on atm <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->
I just found a pic on another web site of me riding my bike. Bit of a surprise, I don't remember any one taking it.
My Bike as it is now.......getting a respray in the next couple of months.....what that will be, I will keep to myself for now, but I will post a new pic when complete <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->
maxfacta i noticed in your pics on the previous page you have an aftermarket exhaust on your bike, did you put it on and if so any details?
yeah, it's a Roo Racing pipe. 2 inch straight thru. Nice carbon wrap keeps it cool, I can place my hand on it after a ride. The manufacturer claims a noticeable performance increase and I tend to agree with him. Also, the sound is improved immensely. People are regularly turning their heads to see what kind of monster is coming down the street But it's not just a pretend sound with no meat, like on a Hyabusa... The guy's website is a bit wonky, but his handiwork isn't. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.rooracing.com/mainmenu5.html">http://www.rooracing.com/mainmenu5.html</a><!-- m --> An independant review of custom exhausts (on a fireblade) where the Roo pipe came out on top. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.mcnews.com.au/producttests/fireblademufflers.htm">http://www.mcnews.com.au/producttests/f ... fflers.htm</a><!-- m -->
what it looks like thanks to nodrog <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s -->
thanx great looking pipe sound nice too although i think the original exup pipe is a real noise maker lol
The bike looks pretty good, but you should find a better background for the photo.... Here is mine - best backgrounds I could find just looking thru the album
oh, c'mon! i dig the juxtaposition of the beautiful fizzer against the trashcans and mossy kerb <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
Are you saying the "trashy" background makes the bike look good?? <!-- s --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s --> I think the bike looks good but a nice contrasting colour background would set it off. Perhaps I am just fussy.
